Hybrid writing
Where form becomes meaning.
The film combines a contemporary sonnet in the Shakespearean form with voiceover, sound, and visual imagery to explore grief, memory, and the unstable boundary between presence and absence.
Artist Statement: The film uses image, sound, and voiceover not simply to illustrate the sonnet but to complicate and extend it. Each element introduces additional associations, tensions, and layers of meaning, allowing the poem to move beyond the limits of the written text. The interaction between spoken language, visual imagery, and sound creates an immersive experience in which meaning remains fluid, inviting the viewer to interpret the work through both emotional and sensory responses.
Mise en AbymeThe Garden Takes Its BowThe film combines prose poetry with an immersive and unexpected soundscape to explore the mythic dimensions of artistic creation and capture the creative process in an unconventional form.
